Sutter Health representative to discuss retention strategies during SNMIC event Nov. 9

National expert on healthcare recruitment and retention


Nationally-known Diane Lahola, director of workforce planning for Sutter Health, one of the nation’s leading community-based, nonprofit health care networks, will discuss winning retention strategies and Sutter Health’s response to the workforce shortage during a Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition (SNMIC) event Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The discussion will take place in the Presidential Auditorium of Sierra Health Services – located at 2724 N. Tenaya Way, just off Smoke Ranch Road.

With over 20 years of experience in the broad-based human resource industry, Lahola has created successful workforce solutions for Sutter Health including managing the company’s employment branding initiative; implementing the recruitment and retention plan for critical shortage positions; partnering with Career Information Technology Network to promote critical health care positions on high school career counseling Web sites; and consolidated recruitment events.
